Laeveld Agrochem (Pty) Ltd ("LAC") has in its endeavours to give impetus to its expanded growth strategy, attracted an equity investor Praxis Listed Private Equity Fund, who brings extensive expertise over a wide range of business to LAC.  

Nick Liebenberg, founder member of LAC, who has been at the helm of the business over the past 28 years, will serve as Laeveld Group Chairman. Nick will still play an integral part and inextricable role within the LAC-business. Corné Liebenberg and Jantjie Bouwer, LAC Directors, will henceforth fulfil a strategic function in Laeveld Group SLLC, an international investment company focused on agri-business value chain.  

Neel Rust has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of LAC effective 12 December 2019. Neel is a competent executive manager with more than 20 years' experience at this level. He obtained an Honours degree in Business Management from the University of Stellenbosch. He served on the boards of various agricultural-related businesses. Neel joined LAC during October 2016.
